Get Her Look: Jennifer Garner at the Oscar’s.
We said it over on Beautiful Makeup Search and we will say it again, our favorite look of the Academy Awards was Jennifer Garner.
Lucky for all of us, we have Jennifer’s makeup and hair explained by the experts who made it possible.
Makeup, by Paul Starr for Chanel:
Paul started Jen’s look by emphasizing her eyes by lining both her upper and lower lash lines with Intense Eye Pencil in Noir and then perfected the line by going over it with Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir. Next, Paul shaped the lids with a shimmery taupe shadow from the Quadra Eye Shadow Palette in Dunes, and applied Inimitable Mascara in Noir-Black to her lashes. For her face, Paul used a sheer foundation, Teint Innocence, to give Jennifer’s skin a fresh and flawless radiance - beautiful, and finished it all with Rouge Allure in Tender, an elegant beige-pink lipstick.
Hair, by Adir Abergel for Frederic Fekkai:
To get the look, Adir started by applying from root to ends, Fekkai Coiff Shape and Set Mist. Adir then parted hair for a severe side part, hiding all of Jen’s short bangs. He blow-dried small sections of the hair with a round brush and pinned each section back. Next, he set the hair for about 10 minutes, and took a 1″ curling iron and curled her entire head. To finish, Adir then sprayed some Sheer Hold Hairspray by Fekkai and pinned all of Jennifer’s hair back into a low deconstructed bun. He also made sure to leave the severe side bang and a few random pieces out to frame her face.
